State Route 272 is a north–south state route located entirely in Washington County in the east-central part of the U.S. state of Georgia. From the route's southern terminus at State Route 68 in the southwestern part of Washington County, the route runs northwest, paralleling the Oconee River, to its northern terminus at State Route 24 in the western portion of the county.
